The smallbusinesseurope EU Policy Tracker is a simple solution to the considerable challenge of accessing information and documents on SME-related EU policy developments in an easy and timely manner. It provides a chronological guide to the previous and forthcoming timetable on numerous different EU policy dossiers. Each of these issue tracker sections contains links to official documents, such as commission proposals, parliament reports and council compromise texts, but also media coverage and external stakeholders' contributions to the debate, from the business community and beyond.

The EU Policy Tracker is divided into the following policy categories for ease of reference: horizontal issues, internal market, employment and social affairs, enterprise, energy, environment, consumer affairs, justice and home affairs, economic and finance, and transport. Each category includes pages on ongoing policy dossiers, as well as those which have been completed at EU level and are being (or due to be) transposed by the member states.

The EU Policy Tracker is tremendously popular among policy makers, researchers and various other stakeholders, but is especially appreciated by business organisations.

"smallbusinesseurope makes a particular contribution through its quite excellent tracking of EU issues - which is of a quality and practicality unmatched by any other source. It enables business to pinpoint the right time to make representations and the right people to contact." Graham Wynn, Assistant Director - Consumer and Regulatory Policy, British Retail Consortium

The EU Policy Tracker is a highly valuable tool in its own right, but a number feel that its value is greatly enhanced by other, more proactive EU policy services smallbusinesseurope offers.

"smallbusinesseurope offers two important services: one is the excellent EU Policy Tracker, without which our information gathering task would be much harder; the other is the smallbusinesseurope staff's ability to gather valuable information through their Brussels contacts." Martin Couchman, Deputy Chief Executive, British Hospitality Association

We are pleased to offer you a sample of the EU Policy Tracker so that you can see the innovative and user-friendly layout it offers.

The source of each document contained in the issue tracker is always made apparent from the title. Should you wish to submit a document for inclusion in one of the issue tracker sections, please email it to info@smallbusinesseurope.org for consideration.
